QA Tester & Change Control Specialist

Due to continual growth we are looking for ideal candidates to join our expanding team. We have an immediate full time opportunity for an QA Tester & Change Control Specialist.

OVERVIEW

This role provides continuous on-going testing of web applications and oversees changes to new functionality deployment for enterprise-level software. The incumbent is responsible for continual development, and execution, of UAT test plans and QA strategy.

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION

Work with development and deployment teams to ensure to new functionality is properly deployed in a timely manner
Execute testing to ensure quality and to support the development, implementation and maintenance of all software applications
Log bugs and work with Developers in resolving them
Ensure all testing standards are being met by employees
Develop and implement quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, guidelines, and procedures
Conduct impact assessment to determine how change requests may affect overall system
Conduct and participate in reviews throughout the development life cycle
Conduct troubleshooting activities & investigation analysis, as needed
Maintain complete and accurate change control records as well as end user & internal documentation on system functionality

REQUIREMENTS

Excellent working knowledge of Quality Systems
Experience creating documentation and validation programs
Ability to independently analyze and reconcile moderate to complex issues
Excellent written communications skills with high attention to detail
Must have exposure to software development & testing methodologies
College or university degree
Technical aptitude
