Overview
The role provides hands-on support, maintenance, and administration of IT systems including our internal cloud hosting infrastructure and the Microsoft online stack. This job will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing incident and problem resolution, root cause analyses, and maintenance support for our products and systems.
This role also involves Microsoft cloud services understanding and implementation as well as maintaining and supporting both on premise and cloud infrastructure. The schedule for this role is primarily Monday-Friday with occasional after hours and or weekend support as needed for special projects.
WHAT YOU DO
- Maintain Corporate IT systems and private cloud hosting infrastructure including the following:
- Server and Network Support including VMWare and Microsoft Server Administration and Support
- Remote app/RDS administration, Workstation and Telecom;
- Support customer systems specifically Azure Active Directory (Entra) and Design, migration, and support of Microsoft cloud technology
- Providing customers with technical assistance and expertise as needed, including understanding of Microsoft online licensing requirements and optimization
- Optimize processes; engineer task automation as needed
- Actively monitor Incident Management System Queue(s), documenting incident and problem resolutions, workarounds, and RCAs for all incidents
- Support existing clients with Dynamics GP
- Assist with upgrades, migration, and technical support as required
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

WHAT YOU HAVE
EDUCATION
- Post-secondary education in IT
- Microsoft certifications are an asset (e.g. Azure-104, & Azure-305)
KNOWLEDGE
- Proven track record with administering Microsoft cloud technologies, including Azure, Entra, business applications, & MSSQL
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP is an asset
EXPERIENCE
- 3 - 5 years experience with internal systems support (e.g. networks, servers, workstations, voice systems, applications, etc.)
- Experience working with Azure services and workload administration, including lift and shift, backups and other methodologies
- Remote Desktop Private Cloud (Gateway, Broker, Web Session)
- Experience with Microsoft SQL & performance tuning
